"Psychological Assessment" can mean many different things. Our psychologists will work with you to customize an assessment plan to help answer your specific questions and address your concerns. The better you can clarify what specifically you are wanting to know, the better the evaluation will be in terms of answering your questions. Generally, you can expect the initial meeting to consist of a Clinical Interview in order to discuss your concerns, gather history, better understand the struggles that you or your child are facing, and to formulate the best evaluation plan for your needs.

Insurance companies limit the amount of time we are able to spend on testing, or do not cover certain tests. This limits the quality of care and testing we are able to perform. For that reason, we do not work with insurance companies for testing sessions. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care for you/your child; therefore we will not perform less than adequate testing as a result of insurance company’s restrictions. Initial interviews and feedback sessions may be able to be billed through insurance (depending on the specific provider’s coverage).
