Cody has experience working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bullying, peer relationships, social skills, and self-esteem. He enjoys working with people throughout the therapeutic process and helping them navigate the stressors with life. Although he enjoys a diverse caseload of individuals, he is particularly passionate about working with athletes, as well as high achieving individuals. Cody’s approach makes use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based treatment for anxiety and depression. Additionally, Cody works with each client individually to personalize treatment so that sessions are suited to their needs.
Cody joined the Viewpoint team in 2020 and has worked alongside Dr. Andrea Schultz-Duncan on the development of Viewpoint’s Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) Clinic, serving as the CES Clinic Assistant. CES is an FDA-cleared treatment for anxiety, insomnia, and depression. Under the guidance of Dr. Schultz-Duncan, Cody has assisted in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the clinic. |
Cody is in the final stages of his graduate studies at Northern Kentucky University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from NKU.
Cody’s clinical work at Viewpoint is being supervised by Laura Hensley, LPCC-S, as he completes his counseling internship. He is not on insurance panels at this time, therefore his services are private pay only. However, he currently offers a reduced rate.
