Ashley Longley, LPCC, enjoys working with early childhood/preschool age and school-age children ages 1-11. She specializes in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), which involves working with young children and their parents together in sessions to address behavior concerns such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), ADHD, tantrums, etc. Ashley also provides therapy for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and other adjustment concerns. In addition, she works with teens who may be struggling with concerns related to sexual identity, transgender, and other LGBTQ needs.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Ashley has been practicing at Viewpoint since 2016. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University in 2009, and her Masters of Health Counseling degree from Central Washington University in 2011. Ashley uses evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. She is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and frequently utilized these techniques within her counseling sessions.
